Microfinance Service to Every Egyptian Citizen

Any financing for economic, productive, service or commercial purposes for the medium, small and micro enterprises as indicated in the Law No. 201 for 2020 for the Development of Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises, provided that the value of financing micro projects does not exceed two hundred thousand Egyptian pounds, for one project.

In 2020, Law No. 201 was issued to amend some of Law No.141 provisions. In addition, it has changed the name of the Federation to be the Egyptian Federation for Financing Medium, Small, & Micro Projects in order to serve also medium, small, and micro enterprises, not just microfinance.

To Develop microfinance activity to make it available in all parts and villages of Egypt, in a manner that meets all the needs of citizens, To provide various financial services with high quality ease and ease in a way that achieves the interests of beneficiaries and respects their rights, and builds and supports the capabilities of microfinance institutions through the provision of specialized training programs and the provision of aid Technical consultations to raise institutional efficiency and support financial sustainability, provide data and information systems, prepare studies and research, and provide all services needed by the sector in cooperation with all relevant authorities to achieve the public interest of the sector and the national economy
