Microfinance Service to Every Egyptian Citizen
Any financing for economic, productive, service or commercial purposes for the medium, small and micro enterprises as indicated in the Law No. 201 for 2020 for the Development of Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises, provided that the value of financing micro projects does not exceed two hundred thousand Egyptian pounds, for one project.
In 2020, Law No. 201 was issued to amend some of Law No.141 provisions. In addition, it has changed the name of the Federation to be the Egyptian Federation for Financing Medium, Small, & Micro Projects in order to serve also medium, small, and micro enterprises, not just microfinance.
